This website is run by Llansannan Community Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • Navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
  • Listen to most of the website using a screen reader

How accessible this website is

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible. We are working towards full compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 AA standard.

Current status: Partially conformant

Known accessibility issues

  • Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible — we are working to provide accessible versions
  • Some older documents may not have Welsh language versions
  • The interactive ward map may not be fully usable with a keyboard or screen reader. Contact the Clerk if you need a description of the ward boundaries.
  • Some text and colour combinations may not meet the minimum contrast ratio. We are reviewing these.

PDFs and other documents published before 23 September 2018 are not covered by the accessibility regulations unless they are needed for our services. If you cannot use one, contact the Clerk and we will provide it in another format.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared in September 2026 and last reviewed in October 2026. The website has been checked using automated testing tools (Google Lighthouse and WAVE). A full manual audit against WCAG 2.2 AA has not yet been carried out; we will update this statement when it has.
